King Porter Stomp deliver a unique union of upbeat ska, dub and conscious hip-hop. Over the past 4 years they’ve brought their soaring horn lines, world rhythms and socially connected rhymes to venues and major festival stages Europe-wide. Renowned for their eclectic and energetic live shows, the seven-piece have recently seen the release of their eagerly anticipated second album,Shuffle whilst touring the nation’s festival with their energetic live show.
In 2011 King Porter Stomp’s public profile raised significantly with a commission to co-write and perform the music for a brand new contemporary production at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. Since then they’ve received plenty of press attention and their packed summer tour has seen them tick off some of the UK’s major festivals. Joining us with their energetic live act, King Porter Stomp hop over from the Green Man Festival to deliver what’s sure to be a tight set.
