‘Flamenco Discothèque’ at Gwdihw…

Brought to you by Péchés Mignons, Funky Dubby and GWDIHW, Flamenco Discothèque is the first of many new and different, tantalising monthly treats, featuring unique live music and DJ nights full of groovy, bouncy beats to start your year in style. This first event is on Friday 5 February at GWDIHW from 8pm until late.

Each monthly event will have it’s own unique name and theme so keep your eyes peeled for the Péchés Mignons logo.

Flamenco Discothèque will offer a special evening, fusing original live music and DJs to create a funky, eclectic atmosphere in the warm, delectable and cosy setting of GWDIHW.

The freshest, fruitiest live music will come in the shape of Encanta, a three piece Flamenco outfit from Cardiff, who will take you on a trip to España and beyond. This passionate ensemble will be followed by a live PA session with the talented ‘Redeye’ (Sule Rimi) and the versatile ‘The Toff’ (Tudor Gwynn) who will bring a special performance of liquid words over rhythmic sounds to keep you on your toes before the DJs take over to carry on the musical journey.

On the decks, Will H and Gringo from the ‘Funky Dubby Crew’ will raise the roof. DJ Harmonics from ‘Candela’ will set the house on fire and last, but by no means least, Toclifrench will finish you off with a selection of fresh tunes to bring you to your knees…or at least keep you dancing until the wee hours.
